How a Jewelry brand doubled its AOV by letting customers shop with their friends online
Background:
Founded in 2012, the Erimish brand of Boutique Stackable Bracelets & Jewelry is built on empowering women to bring out their own style and share it with the world. Erimish jewelry is available in over 10,000 locations, from Nordstrom’s to local jewelry stores.
Erimish sought to increase sales for its Shopify store and enlisted Nomad to help them with their marketing strategy. Nomad adopted a strategic approach to revamp their advertising efforts without disrupting existing performance and installed the Shop with Friends App to help improve the pre-purchase experience.
Impact:
Polls immediately resonated with Erimish’s customers and friends of their customers. Customers sent polls to their friends to get input on which jewelry to buy, which brought in brand new visitors to Erimish’s Shopify store via word-of-mouth growth. These new visitors had a 2.7x higher AOV (Average Order Value) and a 5x higher CVR (Conversion Rate) than visitors from other channels, like Facebook and Instagram.
Overall, Erimish saw a 30% increase in ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) through Nomad’s strategic guidance and by adding social shopping capabilities to their Shopify store.
